These pipe nipples are TRUE TITANIUM(TM), specifically Grade 2 (CP Titanium) and are 44% lighter than stainless steel and corrosion free in the natural environment. They are commonly used with many corrosive chemicals as well.
Titanium is the perfect material for pipe nipples as failures in cooling systems often occur when the other materials are overcome by corrosion.
